Salem Lutheran Church, a dynamic 2400+ member Christian community, is seeking a high-capacity, enthusiastic leader who passionately follows Jesus Christ as our Director of Worship. As we seek to fulfill our mission, this person will have primary responsibility for developing, directing, and overseeing our worship services. This leader must recruit and equip volunteers, and professional worship and tech teams, to stay ahead of the growth of the church and school. The Director of Technical Arts will manage and lead audio, video, and lighting volunteers, staff, and contractors to ensure high-quality, seamless service production each week in all venues. The Director of Technical Arts will also research and implement audio, video, and lighting technology to help advance the mission and the vision of the church. This is a volunteer position and would require approximately 6-8 hours a week. The social media specialist will focus on day-to-day content creation and posting regular content. They design and schedule content across all Salem's social media platforms, they write social copy, draft replies to messages and comments, stay on top of key trends in social media and publish and promote content, usually by scheduling it in advance with the help of a content calendar.
