ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP:

A successful candidate will:
Step into the adventure of helping lead a thriving, creative worship ministry in one of the fastest-growing corners of Houston. You’ll join forces with our Director of Worship and Next Gen worship leaders to craft services that are alive with music, prayer, and the presence of God. If you’re a strong vocalist and musician who loves engaging a congregation (not just performing for them), you’ll thrive here. From planning and leading rehearsals, to equipping teams of musicians and tech volunteers, to collaborating with pastors and school leaders—you’ll play a central role in shaping worship that is both Spirit-filled and people-engaging.

You’ll bring both skill and joy to the team: grounded in Lutheran theology, fluent in contemporary music, and energized by working alongside staff and volunteers who love Jesus and love each other. Detail-oriented yet fun to be around, you’ll model an upbeat leadership style that inspires confidence and draws others into the mission. In short—you’ll help us keep the many moving parts of worship spinning smoothly, while keeping our focus on the One who holds it all together. And with a $28M campus renovation (including a re-imagined Worship Center!) on the horizon, you’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact on how generations to come experience the hope of Jesus in worship.

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT - SALEM TRUST:

A successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be self-motivated and have demonstrated experience with all aspects of fund development with a focus on proactive donor cultivation and solicitation, implementing plans for securing major gifts, blended gifts, and deferred/estate planning. The Director of Development will engage the Salem leadership team and other staff to communicate the church’s planned giving strategy, develop a “brand” that motivates donors and connects them to outcomes and beneficiaries, hold donor meetings for recent and potential donors, and respond to inquiries.
