Our Director of Student Ministry, Tyler Tollefson, introduced a new three-part series on embracing change. He used the story of Joseph to illustrate how one can navigate both predictable and unpredictable changes in life, emphasizing that God's presence remains constant through all circumstances. Joseph's journey from being favored to facing betrayal, slavery, and ultimately becoming a leader teaches that our identities should not be shaped by our immediate situations but by the unchanging promise of God. The sermon encouraged the congregation to trust in God's faithfulness, seek His presence during changes, and respond with love and forgiveness, emulating Joseph's resilience.
