The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children.
I love hearing about Jesus’ great miracles: turning water into wine, raising Lazarus from the dead, the feeding of the five thousand, and especially the feeding of the four thousand.
It’s amazing that the disciples didn’t believe Jesus could feed four thousand people after He had already fed more than five thousand people. If he hadn’t already fed five thousand people, it would have made more sense. But since He had, they should have remembered what Jesus could do.
Everybody has doubts sometime. A lot of time, I have doubts about what my five-year-old sister says. Sometimes I need proof from people that something is true. Jesus did many miracles in His time on earth. It would have been amazing to have seen Jesus perform miracles.

Jesus, help me when I have doubts about things. Thank You for providing us with food, water, and a home. Help me to do the right things in life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
