What if the weight of your guilt could be lifted by one resounding "absolutely" from God? In John 21, Jesus finds a shame-filled Peter beside a charcoal fire, the same kind of fire where Peter had denied him. Jesus doesn't come to reopen the wound. He comes to heal it, and he gives Peter his calling back. Pastor Jason walks through God's absolution, his solution to our sin problem, grounded in Romans 5's promise that Christ died for us while we were still his enemies. If you're carrying shame, or struggling to forgive someone who's hurt you, this message is for you.
