The Gospel of John is unique in that it was written after the other three Gospel accounts were recorded. John specifically included stories that were not included in the other three Gospels. As we travel from Ash Wednesday to Easter this Lenten season, we look forward to experiencing Jesus' ministry journey through the eye-witness account of "the disciple whom Jesus loved."

What a privilege it is to read God’s Word and gain strength from it! This devotional resource was written by various staff members at Salem. It is a collection of Bible passages from the Gospel of John and thoughts centered on our theme for Lent—“Walking with Jesus.” We hope and pray these words encourage you in your faith walk with our Lord and Savior. The devotions begin on Ash Wednesday, March 5 and conclude on Easter Sunday.

Our Lent devotional is now available in the lobby as well as online here. We will provide daily text messages with links to our online devotional. To receive these messages, please text the word DEVO to the number (833) 210-3148 or scan the QR code here.

We will also distribute an audio version of our devotions daily through our podcast feed. You can conveniently access each day’s devotion in your preferred podcast application. If you have not yet done so, we recommend subscribing to the Salem Podcast. Our podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart Radio, and YouTube.
